I bought two. One works another does. We'll see if the other one holds up or not.

The big design flaw is when charging the battery, unless it's plugged into the xbox there is no way of knowing when it is fully charged, I wish it had an indicator light as it is the xbox doesnt accurately display the charging levels while its plugged in,

The only way for the rechargeable battery to work is by having the controller constantly plugged into the xbox series x without unplugging it from the console itself. I actually purchased my xbox series x from the same xbox as well.
