I bought this and had zero issues as expected. In the last 2 weeks(approximately 9-12 months after first use), even if the battery is plugged in, I cannot keep it charged/charging while in use. It will drop connection over and over with no possible fix. Guess i will go with a different companys version.

Would only charge when it wanted to. Dealt with it for a couple weeks until it completely stopped charging. I couldn't return it because it was passed the return date. Oh well, guess I just got a defected battery. Bought a 3rd party battery from Best Buy and it works great with the cord I already had from the first purchase :).

Less than a year and it won't hold a charge long enough to get through a 2 hours playing session. It never got the 30 hours of battery life that was in the specs. I was lucky to get 8 hours at most. It really didn't perform any better than a NiCD battery. I'll be switching to AA rechargeables.

Should've took a que from sony. Buy a better 3rd party dock for multiple controllers.

Out of the box, this battery never held a charge and never worked. It was installed correctly (I triple checked) and even charged for a full overnight cycle. It was able to power my controller for about 2 seconds the next day before dying. Don't buy!!

Honestly skip it. Easy enough to connect, however stopped working properly within a month! Wouldn’t stay charged unless connected to power at all times.

Alright,no charging light is extremely annoying but fine product

Must have for the Xbox controller otherwise you'll be spending more money buying batteries plus it comes with a lengthy charging cable to charge your controllers.

does not work with one x controllers , so I haven't even used it

I originally had 2 of the rechargeable oem batteries by Microsoft for the Xbox 360, and the 2 in one charging base, which ensured I always had a charged battery for a quick Halo sesh. Those batteries literally lasted me years before refusing to hold a charge. Well, this battery lasted me exactly 4 months, and won’t accept a charge AT ALL. I purchased this to go along with my xbox series x, and have to say that I am incredibly disappointed. Microsoft can, and does do better, and they offer no warranty support for this scenario after 3 months. It’s no wonder these things aren’t currently available, they are probably trying to work out the bugs before rereleasing…

This is by far the biggest waste of money you're better off getting a completely different rechargeable station for your Xbox controllers anything that uses a wire tends to break in a short period Of time or shorten out

It's a battery pack. With a cable. You will get hours of enjoyment with this. Also the cable is handy for those that have kinks!

I still don’t know why we are having buy separate battery chargers with cables for our Xbox controllers, get with the program Microsoft.

Came in handy. Will purchase this item again if need be.

Already has a problem holding charge but gets the job done

Charging box works, charging cord doesn't. Very frustrating. Have to leave it plugged in to play and it frequently disconnects.

I love this product, instead of buying batteries that are really expensive, you just plug in the controller like you would do the a playstation.

The physical quality is great, but had to return mine because it would only charge to medium level capacity. Don't know why since it was brand new, as was the xbox series x bought the powera dual dock that comes with two recharables, and it works perfectly.

I was extremely disappointed about this purchase. I bought this along with the new series x & it did NOT work. after placing the rechargeable battery in the controller it was showing that it was not charged no big deal at the time until I noticed even while being plugged into the usb cable to charge it up it was not working I would leave it alone for a few hours and nothing. so I did return it and I bought the "Insignia brand PLAY&CHARGE KIT" also from best buy and it work amazingly battery last long and also charges up fast & it was way only $15!!. so I recommend looking into that brand saves you some money and possibly avoid the same trouble I had with this xbox kit.

This charge kit worked great for 7 months with my Xbox Series X controller. However, it no longer charges. I would recommend rechargeable AA batteries instead.
