If the device was working correctly I would have rated it higher. I received a defective battery that would not charge even when plugged in for 8hrs it showed no life. Had to return for refund since no extra units were available.

Stopped working after 2 months or so. Very disappointed, will try another brand

Honestly, it's a waste of money. You're better off just buying batteries.

open box reduced price. understandable might have some scuff but otherwise should work. Wrong it stopped charging after a month of ue and the process to get it repaired was tedious and not worth the hassle and not much support from the team of best buy and or microsoft team. disappointed from both sides considering i was a costumer from both for a long time

It worked good for a month and then it just stopped working. Tried two different controllers to re charge it but it won’t pick up charge.

Really enjoyed the length of the cable. Didn’t enjoy that the battery doesnt charge. The battery comes fully charged when you open the box but once the battery charge depletes it will not go back to fully charged. Really liked that you can play wireless with the battery but now its just a wired controller since the cable is the only thing that works.

These batteries dont work properly with the new xbox. After full charge controller wont turn on. If I remove battery and reinsert it will then turn on, however controllers will sometimes not respond and even turn off sometimes. Controllers work fine with regular batteries. Unfortunately for some reason I only had two weeks to return these and I missed my window so am stuck with expensive paper weights.

Do not purchase this charging kit. I bought one with my new Series X console in December. It worked great for about 5 months, but inexplicably stopped recharging the battery pack after that. Now whenever I plug the controller into the console I can see the controller is being powered. However, shortly after unplugging, I’ll receive a message that my batteries are low. Doesn’t matter how long the controller remains plugged in, the results are always the same. Save yourself the frustration, but some rechargeable Energizers or something similar.

I like how it tells me the remaining battery percentage in windows under the view bluetooth devices.

Bought one online. Worked for about a week but now it won’t hold a charge anymore

Product performed as described. Battery had a charge from the box and had been functioning properly.

Purchased in March of 2021, and as of August of 2021 it no longer holds any sort of charge. Used for around 10-15 hours a week, perhaps. The warranty is apparently only 3 months long from Microsoft, so this has become a very expensive USB-C cable. Maybe I got a lemon, but I'll just stick to wasting AA batteries instead... Or maybe try the Insignia version, as Best Buy likely offers a better warranty.

Cord quality is not there for me, and for the price to have your controller being able to be “recharged” is over $100 no thanks

Won’t hold a charge. Unfortunately had to return... My brother also got a bad one, so they seem to be having some quality issues.

Rocket fish battery I purchased at same time still works while this like all official Xbox batteries I’ve bought in the past does not.

Works great about a month then the battery will stop taking a charge and must be plugged in all the time. My third one with the same issue

Bought back in July and worked as intended until just now in September where the battery refuses to charge when plugged into Xbox One or PC. I’ll leave it plugged in multiple hours on the console and the moment I try to use it wireless it’ll give me the low battery notification and dies right after. This is the same issue I’ve had with the previous kit for the original Xbox One. Based on others experiences, I had bad luck with this one.

Battery is missing. I received the box just with the cable.
