Stopped charging after a few charges. Not sure if it's the kit, usb port, or a firmware issue with the console. Based on negative reviews, looks like there was a defective batch. Very disappointed and hope I can return/exchange as I no longer have the packaging.

I don’t know why but my kit was defective, no charging what’s so ever, wasted a lot of time on figuring it out

I bought three of these for my Xbox controllers, and ALL 3 of them would charge and then constantly disconnect. I have no idea what the problem is, but I exchanged them all for the PowerA - Dual Charging Station, and it rocks and works flawlessly.

I haven’t been able to charge this battery for weeks now and cannot take it back as i no longer have the receipt. I am angry that i bought this thing thinking it was something i was doing wrong. I get on YouTube to ask why this thing isn’t staying charged and i find out i out of everyone that has this thing have a defective battery! DO NOT THROW AWAY RECEIPT as they are selling defective batteries to paying customers. I am highly disappointed.

The battery shipped Nov 11 2020 and only worked for 12 days. It no longer holds a charge. Attempted to contact xbox support but their number and support is difficult to maneuver. Not sure what happened or if it was just my battery but never had an issue with the ones that came out for the Xbox one. This newer one to stop charging this soon is very strange.

The charger worked excellent for a few months but then about two weeks ago it couldn't hold any charge. I know that other people may have not had the same issue, but I would recommend exploring other options before dropping 24 bucks on this. Note: Regular batteries worked fine on my controller so it's definitely the rechargable battery.

Just like other reviews, this battery does NOT hold a charge. The product was purchased in January and became unreturnable in February. In March, literally,it no longer holds a charge. I keep it plugged in and it will work, BUT it still shows low battery each and ever time! Extremely disappointed!

Bought this on June 22nd. Battery is already dead. Just out of the 90 day warranty. I specifically bought this instead of some aftermarket crap charging station. Now it’s basically a paperweight. Should’ve spent the money on some Duracell batteries instead. Would’ve lasted longer. Would not recommend at all!

Bought this two months ago (not quite two months actually) and it no longer holds a charge. It can run for about a minute before running out. I have to run with a cable plugged in and in fact, the controller runs better if I take the rechargeable battery OUT and then plug it in to a power source. It still dies sometimes even plugged in. Nice concept, maybe my issue is a rare one, but this is my experience.

Does not work I’ve left it charging over night to only wake up to it not even half way charged ? Even took it out my Xbox and plugged it into a cube and tried it that way still did not work. The older charge and play work way better even if it gives you 8 hours of play.

I purchased this on dec 14th, its now feb 17th when I'm writing this, but it stopped holding a charge at least 2-3 weeks ago. I've always had performance with the xbox branded batteries. the 3rd party ones are cheaper and last longer, you'd think by now xbox would be able to provide a decent battery.
