Mine was only good for the first 4 months

I think it's really silly that I even had to buy this to begin with. You would have figured by this generation of Xbox that you would have a built-in rechargeable battery come with the unit.

When I was using the double A batteries that comes with the controller, I was not having that issue.

Didn't fit in my xbox controller

I wish there had been some indication that it's made for certain types of xbox controllers.
