I was going through so many double A batteries. Finally bought this and I’m already saving money. They last really long without charge too.

Don’t listen to the other reviewers who probably kept it in a hot car for 1 month prior to reviewing it. It works perfectly fine.

My son will kill the regular batteries and no one has time to keep changing batteries and purchasing batteries this allows him to charge the controller

The only thing keeping it from a 5 star is the fact that they changed the connection to the controller so I had to buy the new one which is this one and couldn’t use my old Xbox one x cable

Thanks for sharing your feedback on your new Xbox rechargeable battery. If you still have your old Xbox Play & Charge Kit for Xbox One, you can still use that rechargeable battery with your Xbox wireless controller for Xbox Series X/S as long as you get a standard USB-C cable. We hope you have a lot of fun with it.

Seems to be holding a charge better than the old ones I had for the original Xbox One. Kind of a no brainer really.

The controller that comes with the system has 2 AA batteries. Once those die i suggest getting this. Plug it in and forget about it
