Now I have to send this back to Microsoft to get it replaced. Also, it's the exact same battery pack from the One, however it doesn't have an indicator light on the cable, so you don't know if it's still charging or not. The one I purchase with my One (2015) still holds a charge, whereas this one stopped after two charges and about 35-40 hours of game play.

We're sorry there's an issue with this Rechargeable Battery. If you haven't already done so, we recommend contacting Xbox Support for assistance here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/warranty-service/getting-your-product-serviced
If you still have the Play & Charge Kit for Xbox One, you may use that rechargeable battery with your Xbox wireless controller for Xbox Series X/S in the meantime as long as you have a standard USB-C to USB-A cable.

Good at first…but!!!

Then I kept having to take the battery out and then put it back in for it to show that batteries were in the controller. Type see cable was super long, which was nice.
