I have an older one from around 2012 that looks identical and is still working strong. 1400 mAh battery, Lithium ion I believe. Doesn't show you that's it's charging or the level. I guess you just have to trust it's charging. A light or blinking from the controller would be helpful.

My battery charged so fast and the life of the battery has lasted me 7 days since I first played a game on my Series X. This goes handy with the new controller, a must buy if you love to game and hate to keep buying batteries!

Must needed battery pack

Changing out batteries constantly gets old and this battery solves the problem. I haven’t had any issues with the battery and very glad I picked this up. I have not tested any other off brand but this one works perfect.

No More Changing out AA's

The cable is very long which is good if you play while charging but can be annoying if you 've got the USB cable set up in a specific spot to charge like I do. I ended up having to zip tie a big spool of cable since I only needed about 3.5 feet.
