The battery lasts a long time, even with multiple charge cycles. Had to get a new charging cable since Microsoft went to USB C on the new controllers. This cable is a good length, It like getting the battery free.

This is a win! Don't go cheap if you're wanting a rechargeable battery pack as others will be built with NiCad batteries and these are LiON, which are just all around better.

To recharge, simply connect the USB-C cable to the controller and plug the other end into the Xbox Series X console.

Cable that it comes with is also long enough so that I can charge and play and still sit far back on my couch. Would recommend.

Though $25 is a little steep, it's already proving its worth. The battery lasts a long time, it's easy to recharge, and I don't ever worry about needing to change batteries.

I'm very happy I bought this for the Series X. I appreciate the length of the cable just in case I forget to charge ahead of playing.
