Very easy to set up with Windows 10 if computer has built-in bluetooth. No extra USB dongles required. Mouse was detected when turned on, selected in Windows 10, and connects reliably with no issues. Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center is needed to customize the mouse actions. The touch button on the side has two mappable actions. However, the scroll wheel has a right and left click action that is not customizable (reason for 4/5 stars). Takes 2 AA batteries. Mouse is on the slightly large and heavy side for a wireless mouse, but is comfortable to use. Good value when it's on sale, but not worth $40 MSRP.

This device works very well with a Macbook. I needed a simple mouse to help me process photography, and while my Pro has USB type A ports, I didn't want to have a tiny dongle stuck in one permanently just to use a mouse (and if I had a standard Macbook with only a USB type C port, I would need an adapter just to use a wireless USB mouse!). The standard Bluetooth mouse Apple sells feels very uncomfortable in my hand, which is why I opted for Microsoft's more ergonomic offering - and I am loving it. This Microsoft mouse pairs and reconnects with as much haste and ease as Apple mice. The four directional scrolling works, but I haven't been able to get the Windows button on the side to be recognized and used by my Mac (it would be nice to be able to assign it to any of the function buttons). Scrolling isn't as fluid as Apple's touch-based analog, but if I'm only browsing the web or photos, I prefer the touchpad anyway. I'm going on a couple of months now without changing the batteries once, to boot. Stellar experience.

I have a large hand, or this would be five-star .it seems well-made looks good. Extra programmable thumb button comes in handy. Perfect for travel which is why I got it.

This is a great blue tooth mouse. It is very well designed and fits easily into your hand. I highly recommend it.

wifi. does not take a usb slot. wireless mouse. very easy to install. even I could do it.

New Windows 8.1 laptop, same 'ol mouse pad problems. Like most, the mouse pad and I don't like each other. Making right or left handed or even centered mouse pads is not going to happen. The Microsoft mouse was a Godsend. Fit my hand perfectly. All of the mouse widgets worked to my liking. The slide gesture was very handy. The only problem I had was forgetting to turn it off after use. Still waiting for the telepathic pointer device though. :)

this is my favorite mouse I can't do any work without it.. its unfortunate that my boss does not understand that and still expects me to provide reports by set deadlines..

Bought this as an open-box item for under twenty bucks. Love the Bluetooth connectivity and the mouse is sleek and comfortable. The blue button on the side took some getting used to but now I really like it. Very happy with this product and would happily recommend it.

Side button is nice with the swipe up and swipe down some times its hard to get it to respond though

Works great and is a much cheaper alternative to buying the apple bluetooth mouse for a macbook.

This mouse if pretty comfortable in the hand. But it stutters, as in a lot. I'm not talking about the disconnect problem some others have mentioned I'm talking that it just stops while I'm using it for 10-15 seconds randomly. I'm replacing it with a corded mouse.

My son wanted a bluetooth microsoft mouse to go with his hp envy laptop. Works great everytime.

Purchased this to use with my surface pro for cad work. Paired great. Batteries good so far.

I love the "swipe to go forward/back" on the side panel. A big plus is that the Windows button is hard-coded to the start button so it is useful on GNU/Linux as well as Windows. I bought a second one for my laptop because it is a great mouse for the price.

I really like this mouse however, during initial usage, I felt kind of pain in my wrist joint, may be becoz of the low angle but later I found that it was becoz of my sitting angle. To summarize, I use this mouse daily in office and at home and I really find the windows button feature handy. Overall a slick mouse!

At first, I thought they forgot to give me the dongle, but this one doesn't use one. It connects directly to the PC's bluetooth. Seems cool, but when the computer first wakes up from sleeping, it takes a long time for the mouse to be usable. Too frustrating for me
