A: Absolutely. Works great.
Q: Does this have a dongle to connect to desktop computer without bluetooth?
A: NO it does not, it is a real blue tooth device, just insert the battery, hold the little button on the bottom of the mouse until its starts blinking.... now it's in paring mode and is visible on your Bluetooth enabled device.
Q: Will it work with Android operating systems?
A: Yes. I use mine on my android Nvidia shield TV box.
A: Not sure on a maximum range. But my desktop is under my desk on the floor and this mouse is on top of the desk. Works great!!! For this scenario the range is about 4 foot.
A: I ended up taking a risk and purchased this mouse. Sure enough, EVERY button (including the blue Windows button) is programmable with Microsoft's Mouse and Keyboard Center software. I don't understand why Microsoft doesn't mention this on their site - it's a HUGE bonus! I use my extra mouse buttons to copy/paste. In fact, I almost use my customized buttons more than the standard-issue left/right buttons. Plus this mouse gives me 4 additional buttons to program (well, two are swipe "buttons").
Q: Dose this mouse have an on and off switch?
A: Yes, the Sculpt Comfort Wireless Optical Mouse comes equipped with an on/off switch.
Q: Will this mouse work with an IPad that I bought from Best Buy a month ago?
A: I use it on my iPad Pro from two years ago and it works fine
A: NO, that is a good question. Did you try drying out the mouse and trying it after some time? If you have bluetooth on your computer then the mouse will be individually connected and the keyboard will be connected the same way. I don't know if the damaged mouse can just be simple replaced and substituted with another wireless mouse. That "bluetooth USB thing" may have just lost it's soul mate. Hope this helped.
