Hugely disappointed.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this mouse when it was on sale for around $20. I saw lots of good reviews thinking this would be a very nice mouse. When I received it, I really praised its design. However, only a few minutes of using it, the Windows button kind of getting in the way that you can easily misclick. So you have to place your thumb far away from it which leads to discomfort. Only the first day of using, the cursor doesn't have reliable speed. Sometimes it speeds up and sometimes it slow down and sometimes it does not want to move at all. Thinking that its Duracell batteries even though they are brand new. So I thought Duracell is just a weak company with weak batteries. Weeks later, I just bought Energizer (rechargeable). Tried Energizer, and seems like it improved a little thinking that it's the batteries problems and it's because I have used them for weeks (Duracell). So I want better performance. I charge the Energizers with auto shut off to prevent batteries damage and the performance is still the same. The mouse seem as if it is running on a piece of glass which it could not detects the laser on a non-transparent surface. This is my last time using Microsoft products!

perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best 30 bucks I've spent in awhile. Easy to connect to my desktop, took about a minute. Some of the other reviews mentioned the mouse freezing up. I've been using it for a couple days and haven't had any issues at all. Smooth scrolling. Even came with Duracell batteries, instead of those cheap no-names that accessories usually come with.

Great mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up this mouse for my Dell Venue 11 pro CORE i5 tablet. It connected easily and works well. I'm a windows 7 guy, so I like having the button to get back to the start page. I haven't had any problems with the mouse so far. I could have purchased a smaller mouse, but my hands are a little bigger than most, so it's a perfect fit.

Great Hardware Terrible Software
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You cannot customize the left/right scroll wheel clicks, and you can't customize the blue windows button. Good form factor and nice firm clicks on the mouse, scroll wheel feels good, but the lack of customization is a let down.

Fantastic mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I honestly can't think of any downsides here. Has a good size and weight, movement and pointer response are super smooth. Buttons have a satisfying click, no lag or delay and also responsive. And battery life is good. Still on my first batteries after a few months. Recommend to anyone.

Works great, if it actually connects
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received it as a gift, so I can't return it. Started having problems right away, I've now had it around 6 months and just need to throw it away, I just didn't want to buy a new one. It disconnects ALL the time. Like, I have been on my computer 2 hours, and have already had to go into the Device Manager, remove the mouse and reinstall it 3 times. Then it works great...for 10 or 15 minutes, maybe I even get a day out of it. I have talked to Microsoft help 3 or 4 times regarding this and they fixed whatever they could on their end, but won't refund or exchange it without the original receipt.

Good mouse for a little while...then stops working
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this mouse less than a year ago, and while it is comfortable to use, the left click button has stopped functioning properly. I have to click two or three times to get the mouse to select what I want on my screen. Very frustrating while working.

Do not purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this mouse about 5 months ago. The first couple months the mouse worked perfect, after that it would disconnect from the computer and I would have to reconnect it by opening the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center or by resetting it. I finally got annoyed with the problem and purchased a Logitech a couple days ago, way over due. The idea of what the mouse does with Microsoft is convenient, but too many issues.

Feels awkward & cheap
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse feels very awkward in the hand, which I suppose is subjective, but I've never owned one that just "felt" weird to use like this one. It's also very flimsy and feels cheap. The entire top part has to come off to access the battery hatch. The worst part (in my opinion) is how prone to fingerprints it is. I found myself having to wipe it down after every use. Not the end of the world, but a nuisance if you can't stand fingerprints. The Windows button is poorly placed, too far in front of the device (using it requires you to shift your entire hand which makes it easy to accidentally click something while trying to access it.) The button has a "swiping" feature which lets you swipe your thumb to go back/forward on a webpage -- sounds like a nice feature, though I found it only worked about half of the time, and it was easier to just move the cursor to the back button. I can't think of anything good to say about it, besides "it works." Didn't own it long enough to comment on the battery life. Ultimately had to return it. The same amount of money can buy you a much better mouse.

Lots of lag
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The bluetooth doesn't even work properly. Constant lag issues. Doesn't respond, pointer starts moves really slow. This happens for about a minute, then it starts responding again. Taking this back, Microsoft bluetooth is poorly implemented. Should have stayed with the 2.4G wireless. Don't buy it, keep your money.

Maybe good if support device had bluetooth
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid Hardware construction with little information on requirements to use. New laptop did not support Bluetooth tech and did not include a capability to communicate with laptop. Other products like the Logitech Mouse come with a USB Dongle that transmits and receives Bluetooth signal flawlessly

Functional mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comfortable palm-grip mouse but the glossy finish is a big drawback. Using this mouse gives a very greasy feel to my hand. I'd not recommend it if you have sweaty hands.

Plastic Junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I got this mouse, I thought it fit in my hand very well (I went to the physical store obviously), after about ten minutes I finally decided with this one. I am a computer guy so I know how long these things last. It's bluetooth link was fairly easy to set up, but on my new Sony Vaio Desktop it would loose connection randomly for a few seconds up to many minutes. Then there is the material, the black plastic was wearing off on my fingers (yes I use it a lot, but no excuse) in a matter of just over a month. I am now writing this because it is finally a total piece of garbage, that connects to the computer then doesn't, and wont move my cursor at all! Luckily, I have a touch screen desktop. A mouse should last at least a year, I normally get 2 maybe a little more from all my wireless, bluetooth mice. Not the 2 1/2 this gave me. Don't spend the middle-priced range on this mouse, you're better off with a cord!!!! Never getting Microsoft again, I new it was a bad idea. (Yes, I have more complaints, but I don't like to focus to much on negative things. I just hope people read this and steer clear of this and similar products!)
