The overall color palette of the controller was carefully chosen, a mix of gold and grays. The golden D-pad is a good example of how the designers utilized their color palette across the surface, never too much of one color

Average controller with a higher price tag.

The problem is that if the controller shows that you have taken it apart the microsoft won't take it back so here I am with a controller with a little color for $15 more and 4 controllers with a jacked up right thumbstick.
