tired of dealing with wires? then get this wireless controller. the controller tell you when the battery about to die so you dont have to worry about that problem. the black color complements the elite.

The original Xbox has a simple and comfortable design and lasts a long time under normal use. The rubber coating on the thumbsticks does wear over time. I recommend disabling vibration to preserve battery life. In my opinion, vibration adds little to the game experience anyway.

In terms of gamepads, the XBox 360 controller is as close to perfect as you can buy. Outside of the subpar d-pad, it gets everything right. The size is perfect and it's very comfortable to hold. The cord is surprisingly long and connecting it to a PC is as easy as you can get (plug and play, no installation or drivers required).

I wanted to use my PC for my gaming (not to have to go to the basement to play). This device works great on my PC and to not have wires is even better.

This controller is needed to play xbox 360. I get a new controller once a year. Best Buy is the place to go.

Best Buy's sale price for this XBox controller is much better than what I've seen elsewhere. I love the fact that the XBox controllers offer more than one control method and the standard wireless factor allows me to lounge and play all over the place! :-)

Bought for my teen for Christmas and is still working great. Bought the rechargeable pack so wouldnt go through so many batteries

What can I say? This is a microsoft licensed product so it functions like it should. I decided to buy the controller to play pc games with it and it works great for that. I also put it aside just in case i run out of batteries for my wireless controller. That happens occasionally for me. The only thing i can complain about is what has happened to all of my xbox controllers. The joysticks get broken in and become loose or very stiff taking away from the accuracy of movements in games. I have kind of learned to deal with it with time, however, so it isn't a huge problem.

The controller is my second favorite, it feels great, installs easily on windows vista and newer. The chatpad will not work on the pc unless you use third party software tough. I saw cheaper controllers but I opted for Microsoft. The worst thing is that after I moved, it is really picky about how the wire lays! All in all, it is a great controller.

Got for comp, works great. I use to play black ops 2, although I feel like I can not play as well as mouse , key board players but coming from a console I enjoy a controller better,

This XBOX 360 controller is very nice and also plays well with Microsoft Windows 8.1 (it includes the USB dongle).

microsoft controllers are the only way to go. i've bought 3rd party controllers and they don't last nearly as long as a normal xbox controller. they might cost a few bucks more than those temptingly priced knock offs but you will be much happier buying the real thing and not being stuck with a broken 3rd party paper weight.

Great that you can buy the must have clear wired controller for the granddaughter however looking for extension breakaway cable so she play without sitting directly in front of the TV? Was told Best Buy doesn't carry Xbox accessories? Huh? Since when? Was adding another to the one we a,ready have-Called 3 different Best Buy Stores local to me- WORST service - on hold 25 minutes at one, finally gave up after calling back twice,hung up on both times? 2nd location- on hold 20 minutes and no attempt to help whatsoever, got a manager who told me to " upgrade" to wireless? ( got for Christmas from a Best Buy store?) and that she manages that department and never heard of it? 3rd store to,d "she was busy" and could we call back later? (almost as much service as the purchase of the controller- how dare I interrupt the salesperson from her texting to expect direction to locate an item and spend my cash there? ) ......final result .... Called large chain competitor- great help - had what we needed in less than 5 minutes and GREAT service- lost a long term customer here and someone needs to remember that" service" stills means you should expect some!

got it for my son for christmas. he loves the camo. easy to tell his from the other kids remotes.

Bought this online & picked it up in the store the same day. For less than $40 (on sale), it's excellent.

This is an excellent controller. As far as performance, its no different from the basic white that comes included with the system. I am a fan of the wireless to keep the mess to a minimum, also my dog won't eat or get tangled in the cords.

Wireless is the way to go. Works perfectly and is easy on batteries.

I buy it for the new Xbox 360 for my kid . I get it for a good price in Black friday.

What can I say, it's a controller. Works like it's supposed to. But on another note, who plays by themselves? Remember the good old days when game consoles came with two controllers so you can share the fun with your friends? I guess since there's Xbox Live, you're never really alone.

I really wanted to get the wired controller but after doing some research I found the wired controller had some glitches with Windows 8 so I tried this wireless controller.... I saw other reviews, but I was literally gaming with this controller in about a minute after unboxing... the drivers downloaded, and the controller worked without issue. There is no lag, and the small vibration feedback actually is helpful while playing Assassins Creed III We'll see how battery life is... but anyone looking for a controller compatible with Windows 8... THIS IS IT !!!
