    I currently have an old desktop running Windows 8 and it's working out just fine. Recently I returned to school and needed something mobile and light. I knew right away that I wasn't going to buy a laptop and that only meant a tablet was my option. Knowing that I wanted a Surface since they came out I made the purchase. This baby has almost not left my side in weeks. It pairs with Bluetooth keyboards and mice or you can purchase the touch or type cover. I was using the mouse and keyboard until last week when I picked up the Purple Type Cover 2. Somehow they were able to make an incredible device even more useful. Now I can have my backlit keyboard with me at all times. In fact, I'm typing this on my Surface RT with Type cover 2 as we speak. In the back yard almost in complete darkness. I'll leave you with a list of likes. Battery life, Office, Full USB Port, Micro SD, Connects to my Xbox 360 and PC, Only weights a pound and a half

    This product has been advertised as a table/ PC. It is a poor tablet. Not many apps available in the Microsoft store. Can't even get Pandora. The PC side is even worse. Cannot use any of my PC software. Save your money and purchase another item. I truly wanted to like this product. My wife got one for $199 on black Friday. She also had reward points. I believe she spent a total of 150 for the product. Even at $150 I returned it last week because it is horrible.

    Wish i could focus with camera, took pictures in lab, and then they were no longer there. freezes, and the screen will glitch out and have to restart. Handy to use for school, with some problems.
