Also if you haven't read up, the USB-C is only for charging not for file transfer. I only returned it so when I get enough funds, I will get the 1Tb version...maybe even the 15"...

Awesome Laptop w/ Tablet Features

I did a MAJOR upgrade to the Surface Book, and I'm so excited! I usually don't make major purchases like this, but every time I open my laptop I am thankful I bought it. The detachable keyboard is great, and the tablet features work well.

Mild to moderate learning curve to adjust the windows from a MacBook but finally getting the hang of it. This is a very nice computer. Excellent graphics. I really like the capability of separating from the laptop to a tablet as well.

We are both super happy. It can do everything but VR. But allspice more you CAN'T upgrade these machines, but even the ram. So make sure it has everything you need to start with. Great machine otherwise.

I like that you can detach it and switch to tablet mode; this is great when you're taking down notes. I love the write to text feature and it's a good size. You are able to see everything while also being able to carry it with you if needed. Best purchase I have made in a while!

I was in the market for a Surface Pro and the BestBuy sales agent took the time to share the capability and limitations of each. Once I brought it home I fell in love and I learn something new about it every week. I went back and bought the docking station and now have a complete productive workspace.

Best Laptop EVER

Its perfect for what I need it for. I can do all my school work using OneNote, it plays games quite well, especially for not being marketed as a gaming laptop, I can edit photos using Photoshop. The battery life is great, and the build quality is top notch.

I'm a graphic designer and an avid pc user since I was 12. Use apple for a while but I'm glad I switch back again. 13.5 is the right size from a mobility standpoint.8th gen i7 definitely makes this laptop a best and quality casing put apple Mac book to shame.

I still receive data on CDs and the optional DVD player was recognized immediately. The power supply weights as much as the Surface Book 2 and the PS USB port is only good for charging. Overall I am glad I purchased it.

Great laptop and the tablet function is awesome. So light with incredible battery life and high performing CPU and GPU. So glad I got it.

Don’t spill anything on it or break the key board though. This computer is not easy to take apart and Microsoft won’t even fix it, they will just make you get a new one. Unfortuantly I didn’t get the Best Buy extended warranty so I had to pay an out of warranty replacement fee of 600 dollars. Like the computer. I think they should have made it fixable though
