I love the design , particularly with the removable screen! It’s nice if in bed and I want to draw design while not having to angle balence my laptop. It’s my first laptop so I’m impressed with all the extra features!!

My favorite laptop ever. The look, the feel of the keyboard, the versatility (using the stylus to sign, edit, proof docs), and transformer quality (using as a tablet :) makes you feel like you spent your money well. The battery life is not the best. However, I did notice that the battery life started when I got my laptop replaced (after spilling a drink on it 1 month and a half after purchase- Thank God for Accident Protection). The new laptop I received seemed to have a slight issue with battery life and it overheats. The overheating could be a big a problem but I am monitoring it for now. I have all of the wonderful Best Buy warranties so I'm sure they will happily replace it with another new machine. I just hate being without my laptop even if just for a day :( Great Great machine overall! Word to the Wise: For a device of this value, just buy Accident Protection. I had to use mine within 1 month and a half. From my own goof. But the relief I felt the moment I remembered I had Accident protection, is indescribable.

The computer is great, especially with the detachable screen. Great for school use. It does get a little bit hot when detached but it's not gonna burn you. 1 con I found was that it can't charge through the USB c, that would be great if it would Overall the laptop is a great college or school if you have the money for it. I'd buy the i7 version because of the dedicated GTX 1050, great for light gaming and great for video and photo editing in Adobe PS and premier. If you won't be doing that, you can just get the base version and save your money and get the pen and other accessories for it. If I had to recommend it to someone would definitely and if I was going to rebuy it I would buy it a second time

I don't have any complains about my laptop besides the GTX 1050 graphics card, its enough for video editing but its just not enough for gaming. huge let down but you get what you pay for , other then the gaming aspect of it, this is by far the best laptop I've owned. I love my book 2.

This is my best purchase of college. I am an engineering student and it is perfect to use all of my coding and deign programs on. Especially since I can use it as a tablet and draw my designs and my homework.

Does everything thay I wanted. This laoptop is both immeasurably beautiful and endlessly useful. I use it in tablet mode for reading and annotating college papers. I use it in laptop mode for everyday use.

I wanted a portable laptop with external graphic card. But it is still heavy. I think it is hard to find a portable laptop with external graphic card. And I bought this last year May. But I have a problem with touch screen so I will change my laptop with refurbished device soon.

My daughter was between an Apple and the Microsoft surface book. After over 6 months in research she decided on the surface book. So far she is very happy with the purchase. This was a grad present.

I've always understood the draw to the surface line but nothing ever seemed quite the perfect fit. Finally cutting edge processing with all of the versatility of the Surface line. My only complaint it's that it feels a little bulky/heavy. But for what it's capable of doing, I can't complain.

My artist daughter have to replace her surface pro, which she love. The surface book’s screen sold her to switching from pro to book. Book’s keyboard is also a plus since it’s more sturdy seating on her lap while still work on her sketches and the likes. There maybe a con with the short key when the monitor is detached from the keyboard but she managed to learn how to go around it. Overall better than Surface Pro and any Mac for an illustrator.

I love the multiplexity of it. You can use it as a laptop or you can use it as a tablet. I can do my work on it and then turn it into a tablet and watch my shows on it.

This is everything we were looking for in a laptop. It was a tad more expensive than I would have liked, however was well worth the money. My only complaint is the lack of a HDMI port (which I fixed with a adapter). The responsiveness of the screen with the pen is excellent

This laptop is super fast and the graphics are really nice, everytime I switch to use my other laptop after using this one I notice a huge difference in graphics and speed. Super slick!

Great tablet PC, easy to work with and change from tablet to laptop. Good sized screen and keyboard, very lightweight. Wish these were available years ago when I started using a tablet PC.

As always the surface line does not disappoint. Battery life is excellent the picture is perfect and being able to detach the unit from the keyboard is the best feature.

Very nice computer. At first wasn't sure If I would keep cause its 13 inches. Nice screen and build. I could barley afford it with just the lowest specs on these machines. Cost around 1500. That's a lot of money for me. Now I kind of like it.

Excellent product. Over a five year period, I have purchased a Surface for each of my three kids as they Graduated High School and headed to college. My kids love them. Like all equipment, we began to experience technical issues on the oler items. Geek Squad protection, has come through for me on several occasions, purchase the service. Thank you Microsoft for an excellent product. Thank you Geek Squad for excellent support. Thank you Best Buy for providing both.

So far it has run everything that I need and still has power to do more. Holds charge for 10 hours one time that forgot charger. On tablet mode, will only last for about 2 hours.

Love this computer. I use it daily. It is easy to use and light weight. I have owned several laptops over the years. Hands down my favorite!

I enjoy this computer but if you use it all the time, the keyboard will hurt your arms. I rest my arms down and type fast so it will leave marks on your arms and begin to hurt. (Idk of this makes any sense but once you buy it, you’ll know what I mean). I’d recommend getting the protection plan because I don’t trust the magnetic. I feel it will break easily if you don’t adjust or handle it carefully. I’ve had mine for awhile and the magnetic is wearing down so as I use it as a laptop, the screen is loose. Aside from that, I love it.
