The screen is bright a very clear. Nice size. This is my main computer now. I have a surface pro as well that I used prior to this which I still use and also recommend, But if you are looking to buy, I’d spend the extra money for the surface book. The surface book doesn’t go on sale to often, but I got mine for 300 bucks off. Great Value. Nothing negative to mention.

That's what every Surface buyer thinks, but sometimes it fails. Technology still evolves and I could say authentically as an engineer and techie. But after upgrading to Surface Book 2 from Surface Book (as it is failing after two+ years of use), I found Surface Book 2 still needs some tweaking. I have a Surface Dial, and it sometimes needs to be moved to a different place on the table to activate it. I have not seen that issue with my Surface Book 1. I also found the Surface Mouse having issues with wakeup when I have not seen that issue in Surface Book 1.

It's much more balanced than the Pro 4 (that was my biggest pet peeve, that it was so top heavy). I like that I can turn this screen around and have my own private movie theater. The sound quality is good. I'm knocking off a star, because while this does have an SD Card slot, it's not one that you can just leave the card in like you could on the Pro 4. The Card sticks out too far to leave it in. So, I have to make sure I always have my portable hard drive with me to make sure I'm not using up too much of the internal hard drive space.

It has USB ports so I can use thumb drive to save things. The screen comes off so when I want to use it as a large tablet I can.
