    My daughter is a sophomore in college and brought a brand new Surface Pro as a freshman. It worked great for about a semester, then all kinds of bad things started happening...touchscreen interface stopped working, applications began to hang...she had to reboot constantly. Hopefully this new Surface Book will survive much better.

    This laptop is very versatile and very powerful. Only 3 complaints. 1) battery life for the price is sub par. 2) the laptop is very heavy. 3) the laptop glitches when switching back and from tablet mode. Other than the aforementioned reasons, the laptop is absolutely wonderful, especially if you get the model with the graphics card.

    bought this PC for my son who will be starting high school this fall. unfortunately his school only uses windows/PC computers so we couldn't just use our MacBooks. although this laptop is good, there's a reason i haven't bought a PC/windows computer in over 10 years - you just can't beat the 'ease of use' of macs. oh well

    This computer has been amazing for doing art in college so far. the only reason i have to give it a four is because it has bugged out once or twice and the keyboard was stuck to the screen and not responding, and it ended up just fixing its self so it was probably a fluke and hasnt happened again. I would definitely suggest this computer to anyone going into Graphic Design or Illustration.
