I am giving 4 out of 5 stars because these are very finicky in regards to which USB-C monitor cables work with these. I have used other USB-C docks and do not have the issues as I do with these Microsoft Docks. Save yourself time and just buy the Microsoft USB-C HDMI/DP adapters. Pricey, but work.

I purchased this tool because my Surface is not equip with the amount of adapters needed overall. I use a collapsible mouse which requires one slot to remain occupied at all times. This being my situation, ( not my only one) forced my decision to make another healthy investment. The product is sturdy, solid in weight and works as if invisible. I have no issue. My wish is that the Surface provided more entry ports thus eliminating an expensive appendage.

Works very well. A dock should just be something you forget is there and that's the case with this one. No problems, performs what it's meant to do.

My wife loves it. She needs to unplug the computer every night and it was difficult with all the cables. Now, with the dock, it is easy and she doesn't forget.

Rock solid docking station when deploying Microsoft surface products in the office. Make sure you get usb-c to HDMI or DP adapters to connect your monitors.

using it my surface book2, no problems at all with it

Needed to upgrade my dock when I got a new Surface. Fixed the issues I was having with the new Surface not connecting automatically with the monitor. Yea!

Everything I Need to make my Surface Book 2 into a desktop, anywhere! Only thing I regret it not having is a hdmi port, but with a USB c to Hdmi, it's perfect.

After upgrading to a Surface Laptop 3. I needed something a little beefier than my original Surface Dock. Work great and no issues yet!
