In particular, it restricts display bandwidth. I purchased a Surface Laptop Studio with capabilities to drive dual 4K monitors at 60 Hz, but the Dock 2 won't support both at that refresh rate.

Great, but a bit pricey

It's a shame that surface products have only one USB port, but sometimes that's enough. If it's not, I'd recommend one of the Surface Docks. The product is surprising hefty, which means it's likely to stay in place. I have a Surface Laptop 1 and the dock charges my computer extremely fast. It makes my laptop into a better product because of the versatility of the dock.

Yet when it arrived it was missing a key component - the power supply. Also, there was a Best Buy Open Box sticker on it that said it was "good" condition, so this wasn't even the condition I paid extra for, The only reason for giving 2 stars was the there was no hassle for the return at the local store.
