I got it kinda working using display port cables however, my surface laptop 3 would never come out of sleep mode with the refresh rate at 60hz. Very un cool for a $250 piece of HW. Avoid, it is un acceptable docking solution for 4k monitors

It's great that attaching this dock climates the need for additional laptop charging cable without utilizing addition laptop ports because it attaches to the laptop charging port. But I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't directly attach an HDMI cable without an adapter (not included), which so many other docks these days seem to have direct HDMI output.
