Customers are positive about the Surface Go's portability, size, weight, and keyboard quality, frequently praising its convenience and ease of use. Many appreciate the device's long battery life and the option to expand storage. A small number of users expressed a desire for more ports. Overall, the positive feedback on design and value for the price outweighs the limited criticism.

The Surface Go is light and compact. I can tuck this in my bag and "Go". Accessing this tablet/laptop can be a breeze with its facial recognition but occasionally fails at recognizing my face. This little thing works perfectly fine with the Microsoft Office Apps (you have access to the free mobile version). Good at media consumption. Although, the user interface and response time could be better. Its not a powerful gaming or editing device but will get the job done with light games and tasks. Make sure you switch out of "S" Mode to utilize Windows OS at its fullest capacity and download programs without restriction. One annoying con is a bug in my Bluetooth, which had disappeared twice on my Surface Go. If this happens to your device, reset by pressing down power and volume buttons for 15 seconds. This will restore the Bluetooth. The Surface Go is a versatile tool for the person on-the-go. If you don't prefer carrying around a bulky laptop and your needs can be met with the Surface Go, I definitely recommend this.

This is one quality little tablet. I did not want to take my MacBook Pro with me all the time, and this one can act as a good primary or secondary device. Very flawless execution of Windows 10. Figuring out how to get of Windows 10 s mode was as simple as going to the Windows App Store. Build of device is quite good and keyboard was a winch to get used to. I actually like typing on this more than my Mac’s butterfly keyboard. Citrix receiver was only available when I got out of a s mode.its a shame receiver is not available in the App Store. Only citrix workspace. Totally worth it if you could find a deal with the keyboard cover.

This product is an odd one... I can see the appeal of having a portable computer tablet but there are several glaring issues that don't justify the hefty price tag. Performance - This was horrendous.... if you plan to take this out of S mode and use Chrome or anything other than Edge you are going to be very disappointed. (Also see screen section for more on performance) Keyboard - It's very cramped and not fun to use.... but the alcantara is very luxurious. Nice touch. Screen - The bezels are terribly big and make the device look dated. I realize they allow the user to hold the device without touching the screen but they could be a tad smaller. Brightness was good and so was color accuracy though a bit on the cool side. The whole "Go" miniature designs seems like a fun idea at first but I quickly realized that I need more screen real estate. This can be solved by using an external monitor but again the processor just doesn't handle this very well. Apps start to take twice as long to open and at some points the device crashed altogether. Build Quality - This was excellent. No complaints. The device looks beautiful on a desk. Surface Pen (optional accessory) - I bought this separately and I actually like it way more than the Apple Pencil. The eraser tip is a nice touch and the pen tip has a nice grip against the screen. However, the processor of the "Go" couldn't keep up and my pen marks often stuttered or stopped altogether within Microsoft OneNote. After all is said and done I would maybe recommend the Surface Pro 6 or 7 if you MUST have a convertible windows tablet and plan to do actual work on the device. You're already spending a lot on these gadgets so you need to consider that Windows will only get slower in time -- which doesn't bode well for the Pentium Gold processor in this. If you're a super casual tablet user, a base model iPad is a much better purchase: It's cheaper, has a larger screen, thinner, and the processor/performance will please for years to come.

Perfectly sized and appropriately powerful for a tablet that meets basic needs of owning a PC. Browsing the web, watching Netflix, and handling Office programs is all done with ease and at a decent price.

I got this because I wanted a full Windows solution with full versions of Microsoft Office, I navigate Excel by keyboard most of the time so a Mac or iOS solution is not for me. Best Buy was the only store where I found discounted keyboard and PC bundle saving $50. The form factor is great but may take some adjusting to do lap typing because the screen must be held by a kickstand and not a hinge. But this computer is so light it’s great to have in my backpack and be able to either take quick spreadsheets on the go. Battery life is great, lasting about 6 to 7 hours with moderate use mostly Office 365/OneDrive. However this was achieved only after downloading dozens of system updates. I also use Microsoft Edge and have recently updated to the new Chrome based Edge and noticed no change to battery life.

I wanted a tablet for travel & windows for running midi software. This is it. I can remove the cover/keyboard & just read a book on this. I can see more complete web pages than on my phone & more information in my emails. it looks good for videos too. It took some getting used to. Be sure to update windows before you try to do things.

Really great computer. I bought this bundle for student life, and It works great. It runs fine without any issues. I like that it’s small enough to fit in my backpack and how I could take it out anywhere to take notes or do work without dealing with the hassle of a large 15 inch laptop. I’m definitely a fan of Microsoft’s Surface line. I highly recommend picking up the Surface Pen too. It works amazingly well with this device. Taking notes on OneNote is such a great experience with Microsoft’s new Surface Pen.

I travel for work once/twice a month and I’m also working to finish my Master’s degree through an online program. Traveling with two laptops is *terrible* and even with a Smart Keyboard, an iPad just wasn’t cutting it. Worse, my office is windows based and so if I ever wanted to use my iPad for work, I would have to go through the dreaded conversion process, which never seemed to work just right. Enter the Surface Go. I’d been eyeing one of these for a while, so when It went on sale, I took a deep breath and finally bought it. I LOVE this thing! It makes working on classes as easy as if I were on a laptop - yet it’s as light and easy to travel with as a tablet. I was really worried that it would run slow, especially when using the Office suite, but i haven’t experienced any problems or slow running (I purchased the model with 8MG RAM). Some of the app installations are a little clunky (kindle) but overall, I love the versatility this provides. I can switch back and forth between school and work with no issues and no annoying conversion problems, run research projects and even read and notate articles and books from the same place - without having to lug around an extra laptop. I’ve found the performance so good that I’ve even started using it around the house in place of my laptop if I feel like changing up work spaces. An added benefit is that it easily supports the Netflix app, so I’m not stuck with the airline shows if I’m too tired to work. I’ve found the performance so strong that I’ve even started using it around the house in place of my laptop if I feel like changing up work spaces. This has been a total game changer for me, and I feel like it’s actually helped boost my productivity. I only wish I had made the switch sooner.

I have been carrying this around. It is so compact and even without a very powerful processor, it is handling office tasks very well. Screen is a bit small. But, thats why it is very portable too. I have looked everywhere. You will not find a better price on this. Microsoft store was shocked when I told them how much I bought it for. They are selling the parts individually and it will run you about $750. One of the best purchases I made.

easy to pack into a laptop bag and still have space left. works well for editing or redlining documents. Has helped me get extra work in on the bus. However, be aware that to download non-microsoft store apps and programs (chrome and even visual studio) you have to take it out of S mode. It's been a couple weeks since I abandoned S mode and no problems so far.
