Sound great, noise cancelling is OK, had Bose and have to say those are miles away from the surface, but the surface are good enough. The controls are great, feel so fancy and the build quality is great too, as expected on the price point. That said they are not flexible AT ALL, they don’t bend or fold, the earcups have a bit of movement and twist to one side when you put the headphones on your neck (did I mention that the headphones auto pause when you take them off and auto play when you put them back on?) Cortana app sucks 1000000 Recommend it a lot

I was about to buy the Bose but after reading about the fact that this ones can be used/paired with multiple devices simultaneously was a plus. I can go from my iPhone to iPad to my MacBook Air without having to do anything. Listening to music from my Mac and it automatically pause when my iPhone gets a phone call and when you take them out, it pauses the music!!! Sound quality is great and at the office it keeps all the white noise and noise levels out very well. Got them on sale and open box so it was a bargain. I don’t think I would have paid full price (nor would have do in with the Bose)

These headphones work perfectly with chromecast ultra. Noise canceling feature is good, but to hear other people the volume needs to be very low. Long battery life and quick charging is great!

These are awesome headphones! The battery life is around 10 hours. With the COVID-19 issues, a lot of training classes and even throw in a PC gaming session with friends online and yep, again 10 hours at least, at 9 hours Cortana told me i had an hour left. :P I was able to plug them in and they charged while continuing to game! Great dials and buttons! Work very well and I've been told my voice has sounded awesome! Great Buy and Great product! Thx Microsoft you didn't disappoint the Surface name!

Great fit. I have a large head but these pull out just far enough so that they are comfortably over ear. They feel great, and great sounds and noise cancellation. Power control is kind of a pain to find by feel when you are wearing them. I guess they didn't plan on people putting them on before turning on or turning off before pulling off. The rest of the controls are pretty easy and functional.

Noise canceling is good but could be better at lower volumes. Dial controls are extremely helpful. Battery life is stellar

We own the Sony WH-1000XM3 and I think they're amazing but we were looking for a second pair of headphones. Both the Microsofts and the Bose 700 were on sale so I decided to try them both. The Bose had a much more premium feel but the actual sound quality was pretty darn close in back to back comparison tests. Since the Microsofts were MUCH cheaper given the recent steep price drop, I decided to keep these.

The sound, noise cancelling and comfort are great. But for the price, the construction is pretty shoddy. After a couple months, the soft rubber pad on the headband started coming off and i had to glue back in place. Then a few months after that the headband itself snapped right in the middle. I have never dropped them and always gentle when i put them on.

I am absolutely in love with these headphones. Been using them nonstop. They are compatible with pretty much every piece of technology you can think of and sound absolutely amazing. Only thing is the bass isn’t strong in these headphones, but everything else is spectacular. From the rotating volume/noise cancelling dials to the ability to Bluetooth on the fly, I can’t praise these things enough. Excellent job, Microsoft.

These are great headphone, but pricey. I really like how they look and feel, the physical controls are great to use, the feel really high quality. I wish the touch pads were a bit more sensitive though, they sometime don't register my touches. The noise canceling and sound quality is good, but there are better out there for a similar price.

Great wireless noise cancelling On the ear (covering) headphones that I love! I have had many headphones/earbuds/earphones but all have been just ok, however these Microsoft Light gray headohones are truly amazing with great sound cancelling cabability and I really love the touch design to hold and to release the sounds!! Really high tech and so cool!!

These headphones are great! Love the wirlessness and Cortana assistance to answer calls or for general virtual assistance needs. Smooth turning for the volume and noise cancellation - really great feature! I do wish that they had different colors available and I'm guessing eventually Microsoft will release the other colors in the Surface line too.
