Got this for my father-in-law because he was so impressed with my Surface Pro. Now with a Microsoft Surface Laptop, he is the "geekest" 84 year old that I have known and he enjoys the touch screen so much.

First unit was to be determined defective after 6 hours and a return trip to BB to replace. Very frustrating. The exchange was smooth and fast, just your time and travel. Second unit, after installation went smoother for office 365, there were still glitches. After 10 hours of research, trying out different solutions, finally having an IT expert research, Found out that there is an INTERENAL SWITH YOU MUST CHANGE TO TAKE THE SURFACE FROM "S" STANDARD FACTORY OPERATION TO "PRO". Please note there is little anyone,( BB Geeks, on line support, IT Techs) knows of the change. Now I can add programs and applications to fit my business with out any GOOGLE and MICROSOFT ROADBLOCKS. End result excellent unit. To get to that point was a very frustrated 20 plus hours of trouble shooting, calling, travel.

I really like the ease of use, the screen, the speed, the security. All of it is great!!

I have had my Surface laptop for just a week now but I am so happy that I got it. It is fast and operates with no glitches. It has everything on it that I need.

Just pulling this computer out to the box but so far it’s a good computer. I did upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. It was super easy.

My new laptop is easy to carry around, easy to start, shut down, microsof office works awesome on it and it’s just perfect for school!!! Love it!!!!!

I bought this for my aunt, as she isn't very tech savvy. She loves it. It is quick, and still the Windows OS that she is used to. I was considering going Mac, but I highly doubt she would want to relearn a whole new OS. Instead, I bought her the next best thing- the Surface Laptop. Great build quality, beautiful screen, and very very long battery life.

bought for my son on an impulse as we were in the store and they were having a 1 day special on it for $799 and it came with the mouse. So happy we got it! I have bought cheap computers for him in the past that he never uses because they go so slow or wouldn't let him do much....so he would always take my computer to use instead. He hasn't used my computer since! He also loves the ability to draw on the screen with the fancy pen.

Really well done, fast, and easy to use laptop from Microsoft. The best windows based machine I've seen if you aren't an Apple user.

Love the touch screen and ease of use. The slick design made carrying it around during college a breeze as well. Definitely recommend for those not wanting Mac computers but something different. There are SO MANY user friendly features!

This has been a great laptop for my daughter. It's simple to use and has more than enough features for what she needs it for.

This computer is beautiful, and is very lightweight. The touch screen works wonderfully, I haven't had it too long to have any complaints.

Having toted around a much heavier laptop that I bought used several years ago, I was in search of a lightweight laptop with ample storage (and not a tablet.) It is sleek and portable, fitting easily into any bag, briefcase, or tote that I carry. The transition from my previous Dell model to this was a breeze!

I purchased two of these for my college students and they absolutely love them. The laptops are very thin, thinner than a Mac are, and are made of high-quality aluminum. They are very fast and because they run Windows they are great for doing office work and running school-related software.

For my purposes, I think I might have preferred a Surface Pro instead of the Surface Laptop, due to my using for art purposes, but I believe it works well enough in that aspect. Is a great light weight laptop perfect for school work, capable of running lower end games and an all around nice computer. The mouse is really neat too.

I really like the size of this laptop. The aspect ratio of the display is great. I love the 3:2 ratio. The display is crisp and the bezels are thin. They keyboard is nice and easy to type on. I do wish would have gotten the model with more memory. I have the 4GB model and at times it seems like it could use more memory.

I was skeptical to purchase due to the mixed reviews of others. The mouse touchpad took some getting use to as it is very similar to Apple's platform. Other than that, this computer meets my needs of maintaining my small business on the go.

We bought this for my mom for Christmas and she loves the size and quickness of it. I personally would not have spent this much for this type of "laptop", but it's what she wanted. We have been working on getting the network printer connected for two days and can get every other function but this one.

I have owned it now for nearly 2 years but it is functioning great.Uptil now pretty much problem free. I previously owned surface pro 5 but wanted to try this because of slightly larger size and better keyboard. I have previously owned Dell,Toshiba and Samsung laptops but this is probably the best in built quality and very practical. it came with wireless mouse but I have not used it much. interestingly I have used the surface pen from my surface pro on it and it works very well. The color available was grey/silver at Best Buy when I got it .It was nice but very bland so I got a dbrand skin which great. Some people don't like the alcantara covering on keyboard but I think it looks and feels great but has held up very well as far as collecting stains or dirt is concerned.

I like the slim laptop which had a look copied from mac. Must say thou very good features.
