I bought it for my writing as I am wanting to start writing novels and it is so lightweight I can take it anywhere. Down side (which I was aware before buying) is that due to the processor speed, opening files/folders and such can lag a little and take a few seconds to finally open. But once open it's great! Also, the arc mouse is kinda meh. Sometimes when I want to right click to bring up the menu, I have to dang near press down on the far side of the mouse at the edge. And even that doesn't work sometimes.

Had to add download of Windows 10 Pro

Not what you want when you open a new laptop. As usual, Microsoft deciding that they should be making your decisions for you.

Although, the SSD is only 128gb. I recommend upgrading to windows 10 immediately but this will leave you with only about 60gb of free space. The 4gb ram is plenty unless you are gaming. If you are wanting to game I found you can get high frame rates at 720p. The resolution on this screen is very stunning. This is a very small and stylish device. I paid only 599$ for this I would not recommend buying this when it goes off sale.
