This seemed like a close equivalent with slightly less power. The first issue right out of the box was the build quality. Being a Mac user for 10+ years I guess I have expectations commensurate with what Mac offers. This machine is a tin can compared to Mac machines. The first week of ownership I put this laptop in the same bag I have always carried my Mac and when I pulled it out after a short drive the laptop was bent enough that it wobbled on my desk while typing. Second issue. This this is noticeably slower than my previous 5 year old mac. Either windows is super clunky or this machine is just underpowered. The experience of setting work email up through outlook was miserable. Numbers spreadsheet that I had built for quoting using simple lookups and tables now requires custom programming. Clearly my complaints are two fold. The hardware is very cheap given the high price point and windows is an absolute mess. I regret the purchase and now I'm stuck with a very expensive very frustrating machine.
