I’ve been using the new Surface Pro with the Snapdragon X Elite chip for about two weeks now, and I’m seriously impressed. This was an impulsive purchase I swore I would regret but ended up loving. I went to a store location that wasn't the best but I needed a laptop asap so my mom in home hospice could have a device to watch & stream movies and shows until the TV would arrive. I was originally looking for a gaming laptop and the guy there ended up talking me into getting this. Its no high powered gaming laptop but it will carry the sims 4 on high settings decently well (please play these games on low or normal settings) my only issue is that the VRAM runs out quickly and its so easy to use it all up if you accidentally play a high functioning game or program that eats it up. Now the touch screen is amazing and works well when I want to skip the mousepad. I wish it had more ports on the side but it has 2 USB C PORTS and a headphones jack for traiditonal headphones which I appreciate. I love the face recognition but if you're wearing make up like contour or a headband that covers your head or anything similar it may not recognize you but you can go into settings and reset it to your new look. OH AND I LOVE pairing my phone to it. My phone broke and i was in tears yall but cause I synched my phone to the laptop I was able to text messages friends to alert them from this laptop and I called them from the laptop as well. Life savior for sure. Buy it if you can afford it. Again, warning if you are a gamer this isnt for you. You can play seiko, yakuza (dark ties & 3), the sims, gta iv and old gta games but no Nivida games on it so be warned.

Super fast, light weight, and super long battery life

I'm happy with my purchase of this laptop. Replacing a ~10 year old Microsoft Surface Book laptop. I have had to use some workarounds to play some games due to Windows 11 and Windows on Arm (screen flickering, etc.) but haven't run into any deal breakers yet. Good performance and impressive battery life which was to be expected given it is Windows on Arm. Shipping from Best Buy was quick and came even earlier than originally expected. Only thing to keep in mind is that it didn't require a signature or anything, fortunately we were home at the time of delivery or an expensive laptop could've just been left out.
