I have now had this laptop for about 8 months and I absolutely love it. It is a power piece of machinery. The only thing I dont like this that my edges are starting to bend on the keyboard. I would recommend purchasing the hard keyboard case and not this leather material.

When you pick up your laptop, bring your ear close to the back of it, and listen to the distracting buzzing noise. All the versions on display also seemed to have this problem, although some much louder than others. I had to return 4 surface laptops (black aluminum) for different hardware/manufacturing defects. Each time, it would be a new problem. Come on Microsoft. You can manufacture consistent high quality. It should not be up to luck if i get a flawless laptop. Flimsy keyboard, shaky track pad, one would not charge, and the buzzing noise in all of them. Very distracting when studying in quite space. I'm giving this latest one another week to see if i can stand this louder than normal buzzing noise. Very disappointed. I was very excited about this laptop. Microsoft let me down.

i love it but the screen is sooooo sensitive i barley touch it and have three cracks on it :( i have had it for a year now about to be two years but that's the only flaw really and maybe having to buy word. (the cracks happen pretty early in my purchase)

I have had the product for 36 days. I would've returned it last week if best buy wasn't closed due to the pandemic. The laptop rubber feet have already fallen off. Which mans laptop is over heating.. Very upset about this.

Before this I had the Surface Laptop 2. I feel the fan on the old one turned on less than this one. It may be due to the large number of updates in the first days. You can see the premium of the SL3. If you have the SL2 it is not so much the plus when upgrading.

The laptop is fast and good , was expecting a longer battery life.

This laptop is everything I need. I work with my laptop in my lap a lot so didn't want a Surface pro, so I got a Surface laptop! And I love the sandstone color!! I have only had the laptop for a week and have had no issues. Some reviews talked about hairline cracks but I have not had that problem.

I love my new computer, I'm just now getting the internet up and running, but my whole experience with buying at Best buy has been very efficient and fast, I also bought my sister a computer for Christmas and it was delivered on time. Will buy again from Best buy

I have enjoyed using this computer. The audio and visual quality is excellent. It looks sleek and is light. There are some occasional glitches with the screen which I am not sure how to fix and the battery seems to be draining quicker than when I first got it. Other than those two issues, I am very happy with this purchase.

Cannot complain, it is your standard Microsoft surface laptop. Thin, high quality, great display. Wish the resolution would be a standard 1080p, but it uses the weird 3:2 aspect ratio. Touchpad and keyboard are great. Charger could be longer. Overall a good laptop, only worth it if on sale.

Really lucky to have found this beautiful piece for such a great price. I was a lucky shopper that day. I was able to purchase tech support service as well which is really valuable for a not so savvy techie like me. Thanks to the great sales staff.

I love this laptop! One of our metro area Best Buy's had a Geek Squad certified model available and I so I jumped at the opportunity to grab it. The matte black finish is beatiful. I had a Notebook 9 Pro i7 which was nice but I love the ergonomics of this laptop much more!

I bought the same model with the i7 processor to replace my dated desktop setup around Christmas. When remote learning became the new norm, I bought this for my teenage son because he was using ours almost exclusively. He hasn't complained of any drop off in performance between the i5 and i7 for the applications he uses,

This laptop came highly recommended from several sources. So I purchased it with great confidence. However, on Day 4 I awoke at 6:00 am to the sound of the fan in the device running at full speed and the device was blazing hot. I unplugged it and waited for the store to open at 10:00 am. I returned it and even after four hours, the computer had not cooled down. We were afraid the battery would explode and cause a fire. I'm sure this specific computer was defective - not the entire line. And I'm grateful to Best Buy for their professionalism in handling the return.
