    Not even a week of having this laptop. The light in the screen just turned black. Went back to get a diagnostic to Hopefully it was something minor but them called it defective, was willing to get a brand new one, since the one I bought was defective, but all Best Buy sold out on this laptop. It would of been 1-2 weeks for shipment. But I needed one because with this online distance learning for my daughter.

    apparently this laptop has a common defect where they glass can crack spontaneously while closing the lid due to a small particle in the glass. Although the manufacturer is providing a replacement device im still very dissapointed in the way best buy reacted to the situation, refusing to let me switch for another device of equal value even though I have purchased the device less than 3 weeks ago.

    I had an HP Laptop for 6 years, no issue. I bought this computer three weeks ago and have had major issues with the wifi driver. So much so that I'm returning this computer tomorrow and exchanging it for an HP. I don't care what's wrong with it, you shouldn't have to fix new things.

    Stuff stops working like the brightness and volume buttons and the computer doesn’t tell you it needs an update nor does it update when you reboot!!! Extremely frustrating. Exchanging...

    Not a good purchase. Bought for my son for college and it will randomly turn off even with full battery. And no its not on a sleep timer, we checked. He can't even complete a essay for it turning off multiple times. Will be returning this to the store

    TERRIBLE. Laptop continually shuts down. I just started using it yesterday but Best Buy has a ridiculous 15 day return policy when everywhere else is 30 days. Shop somewhere else. Buy a different computer.

    I’ve had this laptop for four years now and it’s been great. I love the sleek look, fast processor and overall use and ability. The touch screen is a much added bonus and one I could not go with out. Would definitely recommend.

    It lasted me a long time! The keys feel great too. I will say the battery life is not the greatest but the charger is very portable and wasn’t a hassle at all. The size can be a little bigger than a lot of laptops but it didn’t bother me!

    Ok I’m sorry but for $1,200 this laptop is CRAP! The only good thing I have to say is the screen resolution is great- very crisp and bright. However, if I’m paying this much money it should be TOP NOTCH. First off, the speakers on this thing is terrible. So muffled... it crackles and makes screeching noises all the time. It gives me a headache just listening to my Zoom calls and YouTube videos. Second, it’s always lagging. It takes a bit to open apps or tabs and get things going. Lastly, the battery drains so quickly. This thing is brand new and expensive- why is it such crap?? I’ve had it for 10 days now and I’m returning it today. DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP- IT’S HORRIBLE.

    Good, But They Can Do Better

    I am in lawschool, and my first year I used the Lenovo Yoga 920 14 inch with the watchband hinge (beautiful computer). Then I changed to the Ideapad 940 which was even slimmer. However I found that the short screen on it was not good for typing word documents. So I decided to try this laptop. I like that it is substantially taller and slim for a 15 incher. I was used to the slim bezels of the Lenovo and to using its usb-c charger to charge my phone. This laptop has a proprietary charger that is hard to plug in. You have to grab the laptop and look before you insert it. Also the battery life of this laptop sucks. The Lenovo's battery lasted all day. But, if you want a bigger laptop for productivity that is light and slim, this is a good laptop. If you want it for entertainment and battery life I would go with a different one.

    Randomly shuts down ALL the time

    I love everything about this laptop except it randomly shuts down EVERY time I use it. As a full-time grad student, I cannot have a laptop that is unreliable. I have tried the Microsoft troubleshooting solutions and none of them have resolved this problem. I am extremely disappointed. As this problem began the day, I purchased my laptop. It appears many people are experiencing this exact problem.

    2 Months & DEAD - Not Charging - $1K GONE

    Well as another reviewer said, "it's a paperweight." We have tried everything to get this laptop working. We've only had it since the end of August. The battery light is on the machine is not charging. My son needs his laptop for virtual school and now he doesn't have one. Microsoft DO BETTER!
