This has been my best laptop so far. I've had no trouble wih either version. I do not prefer the Alcatara wrist support. It's gets very dirty over time and is difficult to clean. So this time i went with the all metal version.

Had an issue with the first one I got -- definitive blown speaker sound on the Surface Laptop 4 which finally just made me take it back for exchange. Liked the machine enough to try another, and it's been great.

I meant to order the Surface (not laptop), however got this one. I was going to return it however stayed with it. Turned out to be pretty good. Works fine for what I need it to do. Had to upgrade to Windows Pro, however besides that it was up and working in no time at all.

It has taken a little while to get use to Windows 11 vs Windows 10. Since I had been using one of their surface tablets for about 8 years. I decided to stick with MS.
