It states about 10 hours and lasts about 6. This also does not support the Microsoft Surface pen, even though it has the whiteboard program and will connect to the pet. I did contact Microsoft, and this is where I got the answer that it is the only surface product that does not support the pen.

It is especially useful if you need the Microsoft Office suite on this device. It is not, however, as user friendly and does not have the display quality as a similarly priced iPad. Also, the app functions are a bit limited and the S mode for security is clunky. I was advised to turn it off immediately which has helped somewhat. Overall, it meets my needs but do not mistake it for a replacement for an iPad.
