This is a phenomenal laptop! I'm a professional web and software engineer, and love the versatility of this machine. Windows 11 works really, really well on it, and I love the fold down screen. As a web engineer, I use this functionality for drawing out UI/UX design ideas before migrating them to Balsamiq, then can put the display back in standard mode and code out the interface. It's solidly built. I don't feel like the display is in any danger of getting damaged during normal use; I think you'd have to deliberately try and break it to cause it harm.

This laptop is a great concept, but is not a 100% ready yet. I love the mouse and the keyboard, and the speed on my surface laptop, but I still like my Mac more.

I've really enjoyed this device so far! I bought a pen and a mouse alongside it, and both work great. I love the size of the screen and clarity.

I like the surface a lot. It has not crashed with Win11. Loads fast. Easy setup. Needs docking station for external that are not USB-C.

Let me start this off by saying I am a fan of Apple products. I love the touch pad on a MacBook. However after experiencing lots of Bluetooth issues on my Apple M1 Mac Mini, I wanted to give a Surface product a go. This product has exceeded my expectations and has become my go to system. I love the multiple display modes. The pen is super responsive. I mainly use Lightroom and Photoshop and the system is quick.

This machine is awesome! It has all the newest tech and durability to get you thru your day. The battery life is very solid considering its specs.

This really is the best of both worlds. Laptop and tablet. Will only be purchasing surfaces from here on out

It’s cool but Windows seems to be the step child these days, when it comes to app development. For the record, I have an iPad and a MacBook Pro 16” as well. When I look at Windows, many of the apps you can find on things like the iPad, just aren’t there for Windows. Sure you can use the windows subsystem for Android, but there’s almost no apps in the Amazon App Store. If you want it to learn music, apps like Simply Piano, Notion, and Garage Band aren’t available, but that’s okay because it isn’t Microsoft’s target for the device. Understand those apps are cheap or free on the iPad Pro. If you want it for drawing, you have a limited number of cheap options and none of them are on par with procreate, unless you’re willing to rent the software or pay a boat load of cash for a drawing suite. Also, things like second screen, are not really a thing with this like it is with the MacBook Pro and the iPad. Yes you can do it, but it will cost you extra to find an app to do it. Gaming is decent and the form factor is great for this, but it isn’t perfect that’s for sure. Do I like it? I actually do like it, but I also understand what it is and is not. If you have a decent amount of money, or already have a decent investment in Windows drawing software, then this is a solid machine. If you’re somebody that likes to game on the go with your PC, then again it is a solid choice. Overall, if you don’t game and don’t have a good investment in Windows software, there are more powerful machines out there for creatives, so you have to know exactly what you want before shopping for these machines. Overall it is probably Microsoft’s best effort at a laptop and it really shows they’re growing and learning for a change.

Very good laptop I can play games on it at and it does not lag at all.

This laptop is an absolute beast I absolutely love it , I went from a Surface pro 4 and IPad Pro 12.9” to this laptop and it’s absolutely just awesome boots on super quick you don’t have to wait 10 minutes like previous windows operating systems , battery is decent you don’t even hear the fans , works great as a tablet also but could be pretty heavy for some people to hold as a tablet. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
