    It's unfortunate when companies don't include the "specialty cable" for their proprietary "connection". I'm referring to Microsoft, not Best Buy. That being said, I was able to purchase this adapter cable on sale from Best Buy.

    I bought this so that I can use my laptop to stream movies, online sites on my TV with the hdmi and screen looks great BUT the audio comes from the laptop and not the TV. That's the only reason it's not worth buying and the 4 start rating

    Got it in hopes of connecting my monitor to my Surface Pro but it did not qork monitor was in and out so I had fo take it back. I am sure it may work well if you have the right part I may have had the wrong one.

    Does what it suppose to do, never had any issues using the mini display port to my tv. It is a little on the more expensive side but your getting a Microsoft product instead of a unknown source.
