Expensive but excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had cheaper surface converts but the build quality isn’t any where close. I know it is expensive, however I have never had an issue using it (can’t say the same for cheaper options) and the build quality is the best. I travel 90% for work with this packed along every time. And the physical condition is better than people in my office who infrequently travel wth cheaper options.

Essential adapter to add a second monitor to dock
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This adapter was necessary to connect a second monitor to the docking station for my Surface 3pro. With an older station not using USB-C, this connector was the only way I could make the connection without replacing the whole docking station. Fortunate that MIcrosoft is still producing the part.

Q: QuestionTrying to connect through an HDMI monitor cable, will this work as an adapter for that?
Asked by SurfacePro.
- A:Answer Yes, used the "Mini Display Port to HDMI 2.0 adapter" to connect the monitor's HDMI cable to the Microsoft-Surface Dock's mini display port. Now able to use both monitors with the Surface Pro. Attached photo shows using two of the Mini Display Port to HDMI 2.0 adapters with the HDMI cables connected into the adapters, and connected to the Microsoft-Surface Dock's mini display ports.
