Microsoft's new Surface Pro pen delivers promised performance in stroke thickness that responds to pressure sensitivity, but had to learn for myself that its app dependent. There are only instructions for how to insert batteries. That's a surprising shortcoming for a Microsoft product.

It seems okay and writes on my screen but i am not sure this was meant for me.

I like the surface pen quite a bit. I have more experience with the Apple Pencil, but this is also a nice stylus. I like how it uses a replaceable AAAA battery and has mappable buttons.

Works perfectly. Open box items are the best for value.

Best pen ever! just don't set the pen down on your tablet or any technology, touch screen or flat screen. the magnets will mess up the touch screen.

Don’t see how you can have the surface without this pen. Yes it is expensive but worth every penny. Works beautifully and love the magnetic capability with the surface when not in use. It’s a must have!

Initially lost my pen the laptop was pretty slow but the pen worked great

I came from using the apple pencil and ipad pro to using the surface book and the surface pen. there is a clear difference but not in a bad way. just depends on how often you use it. Im a light-medium tablet user so i think this suits my needs respectably

Sometimes microsoft glitches while opening the whiteboard, but besides that, all good.

I didn't think I needed the pen but when you detach the tablet from the keyboard it is perfect for it. It gives you the flexibility to do almost anything with the tablet

bought these for kids @ home learning they really liked the details in drawings. (Fingers aren't as slim) Quick key buttons are very helpful navigating thru screens.
