I like this pen but I only used it for s month and it is scratched.

I could barely keep mine in my hand. It's so freaking small and slippery. Would've been better if Microsoft offered some kind of high-friction sheath accessory for this thing to make it easier to hold onto. I likely would've bought it. I've had an Apple Pencil, so I was used to its larger, lower-friction tip and prefer that, so I wanted one for this stylus, but of course, Microsoft doesn't include any more tips with this device. For other tips, you'll have to pay another $20. The "tip selection scandal" would've been more forgivable if this thing MSRP'd for less, but at $100, it's a bit much. Good thing I got my as an Open Box item. Really, Microsoft needs to mimic the design of the Apple Pencil, which is so easy to use.

It would be nice to be able program the side button.

I use to think this was a great pen but ehh... I don't use the pen

I have had to return the first one and now I am going to be returning the second one as they both connect to the surface tablet and then will just stop working.

I got the Burgundy Color because I just had to match it with my keyboard and mouse. The updates they've done to the pen itself for sensitivity and using it at an angle are great. Nothing but praise for the responsiveness.

It was nice to have when I first got my surface pro but I found myself using it less and less. And now it doesn't even write. This is apparently a common issue that not many people are able to resolve. Microsoft is shipping me a replacement

Pen works flawlessly. Nice improvement on how strong the pen’s magnet keeps it attached to the Surface. However, you still need to be careful, it can be knocked off but not so easily as earlier models.

Does everything you'd want. Little delay on the Surface Pro 6 it's been used with. Tilt works fine. I still would NEVER rely on the magnet to keep it in place anywhere but on a desktop; you need a mechanical holder if you're gonna be taking it in and out of a sack or carrying around all day.

For the price, I was hoping for more features and compatible uses

Perfect for designing anything, especially when using apps like adobe illustrator. Don't really mind that it takes a AAAA battery instead of worrying about having to remember to charge it all the time.

Difficult to use. I gave it as a gift and the recipient said it was hard to use.

Since the surface does not lay flat the pen is useless.

The pen does not work. You can still click the button and the options will come on the screen. However the tip of the pen no longer functions to point or draw and it is brand new.

But I need the holder, because I put on my shirt no only on my surface!\

it works for some people. i do use it but it is really not necessary !!

I was told by the Best Buy associate that sold me the HP laptop, that this pen would work with it (vs the Bamboo brand). So, it was gifted to me, but I could not get it to work with any of the programs on my HP! I found out (later) that HP makes their own pen. Of course, one can never reach a live person (@ HP or MS) to find out what is keeping them from interacting with each other! On top of all of this, there is no actual way to identifiably shut down the pen or turn it on....waste of battery power without physical removal of battery! VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS ITEM, & I want to make sure the world knows it is a waste of $$$ if trying to interface with other than MS computers. If you can't use an item, it is "worthless".

Works so well with the Microsoft pro 6 I got it with and so I highly recommend it if you are buying the Microsoft pro. Or really any Microsoft. It magnets to the side so not super easy to lose.

Only lasted 6 weeks before the writing tip quit working. (Tried replacing tip, battery, etc.) On its way back to Microsoft for a warranty replacement.
