Went through all troubleshooting steps including changing battery and resetting. Return window is 15 days. HOW CONVENIENT FOR THEM! Was told by Best Buy it was not returnable after 15 days and to contact the manufacturer. Go through the process on Microsoft's website and it says "out of warranty". Very dark and violent fantasies going through Best Buy customer's imagination right now. Guess that's how these companies want to treat their customers. DO NOT PURCHASE. CROOKS!

The problems that have existed for years with Microsoft still lies in the Windows OS. Not perfect handwriting recognition but getting better.
