My daughter draws a lot using her surface so this pen was a absolute must have!!

Works great but the tips deteriorate quick, there are no replacements tips

It’s an investment to me, it does help me to take notes while sit in the meeting.

The pen is very useful especially if you're a student. The only problem is the tip. In the beginning, I give it a small use and in less of 6 months the tip broked. At that time I didn't care about the tip because again, I didn't use it very often but then I discover the great functions of the pen and then I decide to buy the extra tips. I consider that the extra tips are way better than the original tip. It is more comfortable for writing and drawing and it seems more resistant. If you're going to use the pen very often, you should buy the extra tips because you will definitely need them.

Good but easy to lose, would it kill them to put some sort of "Find my Pen" feature on this dang thing where it'll make some sort of noise so that I can find it on the chance it falls off the surface? I'm on #2 and I can still see that my PC "sees" my other surface pen and it would've saved me $60 if it could make a dang noise so that I'd know where it is. But I guess that's how they keep you coming back to buy more $60 losable surface pens.

Great pen, love that is is pressure sensor. I use this for school and love taking notes on it.

I think the pen is a nice accessory, but not necessarily a necessity. I suppose if you use your Surface for art projects or if you do a lot of Word editing, it would be very handy. I haven't used it quite as much because my main activity on my computer is typing reports. I was also pretty paranoid about losing it, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that its magnetic and sticks to the metal portion of the back of the tablet. I also purchased a case with a zipper pocket to hold my pen and mouse. I would say its a neat little gadget and compliments the Surface pretty well! I don't regret buying it.

Really awesome pen! Unlike the cheap ones i used in the past, this one does not skid when I draw and keeps a straight line. It's like using a pen and paper, easy to use! :D

Overall way more responsive than an usb style pen/tablet but without the option to select various pen pressures for writing style as well as various pen/pencil tips it offers less than a competitor ranging in the $30 range... That being said the pen itself is fantastic with magnetic attachment to the tablet and a much better grip than the latter; making overall user experience slightly better.

Pen did its purpose and more! Loved to use it for art projects.
