I struggled to get it to connect to my device, and when it did, it would not write using the tip. The pen only wrote using the eraser end. Per the rep, the purchased pen was compatible with my device—just faulty. Had it worked, I'm sure it would've been great.

Bluetooth functionality is a nice extra, but not always necessary. Oddly enough, I'm unable to use this pen with any other tablet or smartphone. I had hoped to be able to use a single stylus across all my devices, so reducing a single star. Using other styluses has been ruined for me on this device, and no complaints there!

I purchased it while it was on sale to use with the Hand me down surface 4 I received. I works great. I can even use it on the HP Envy that I have a added bonus and does not need to be sync to the HP.

I guess I should back track to explain how I predominantly use the Surface Pro - note taking and sketching. If you purchase the Surface Pro and plan to use it for note taking - this is a must.
