This pen give me the best of both worlds. I was thinking of taking notes with my finger but then the thickness of the line is too thick. I do not always prefer to use it, but it works as it should when i do. Some of the interfaces on the Surface are a little strange with the pen, but for the most part i have found no issue.

If you're a heavy tablet user, this will help you get more efficient. definitely a slight muscle memory/learning curve to get used to, but there's no reason why you don't have this when you purchase your tablet. I wish they came as a package.

When I drawing it does get annoying but works great otherwise. The color is more of a silverish blue does not match what the picture shows. It was great for me because I'd rather have silver. Also magnet is great sticks to the side of my surface pro great.
