Just don’t use it in word. Acts like a pen and will look like someone made marks on your document when you print it. But great for drawing and as a mouse if have carlpultunnel

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.had a issue with the surface pro recognizing and connecting to my surface pro, bought the Microsoft Burgundy surface pen and have had no problems syncing and working right out of the box, and the new design without pocket clip seems to attach a lot better than the older surface pens (newer &stronger magnet maybe?)

Great Pen but not all there

Good tracking on screen Pairing the pen to the surface pro is easy and changing the battery is also easy to do. The cons: Pen stops working after 3 months of use even with changing the batteries. Got a 2nd one same thing happened, guessing its an incompatibility with the surface pro and the pen.
