It is battery powered, so it was kind of upsetting when I realized that aspect of the pen, but it has not needed a change of battery for three weeks thus far. Overall, it's a great product

It is a bit pricey, but Microsoft stuff generally is. Hubby says the pen glides smoothly. If you have a Surface, you should have this pen. He uses the pen with OneNote as well as other programs. The magnet is also nice.

It is the perfect addition to maximize the touchscreen tablet's ability. The pen features over 4x the number of levels of sensitivity compared to its peers. It is a must have for Surface owners who are serious about having a great pen to go with it.

But this pen works really well. The soft tip feels great on the glass surface. Turning the pen sideways for shading works fairly well too.

It's not only a pen for writing and signing but can also function as a mouse. Bought this because I thought I had lost mine but coincidentally found my pen, same exact pen but in maroon the next day and no longer had the need for the replacement.
