This now includes a lot more functionality, putting it on par with the Apple Pencil, has battery life that kicks its Apple competition out of the park.

Not sure time frame of use as have only had it a few weeks. Family loves to draw & paint with it !

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to return this item in favor of the new Slim Pen 2, but for those who just want a functional and affordable option in a stylish color, the Surface Pen's still a very good choice. It's kind of weird for them to use AAAA batteries, but each one lasts for an oddly long time and can be found at most drug stores. Those who might have an older Surface and don't want to invest in the cost of the Slim Pen AND charger will still get a lot of use out of this version, some might find the cylindrical shape more comfortable.
