Uses a AAAA (quadruple A) battery. Not rechargeable. Replacement tips are sold separately. Decent little pen, works great with the surface pro 8.

Love this pen. The magnet that attaches the pen is also great. Strong magnets. The shortcuts when clicking the pen workout really good.

Expensive but works well. I have had two from the Microsoft store break on me so I am hoping this one holds up.

I bought it after reviewing a few in the store with that assistance of an advisor their to answer my questions regarding everything it was capable of doing.

Great adder to the MS surface. Pen top (eraser) does shortcuts that can be changed from default. Pen feels good, and takes a AAA battery avoiding another thing to charge.

The pen is a must if you jave a surface (obviously). The ability to use the back of the pen as an eraser is simple but great.

The pen is good for use with Surface computers, but with the slim pen out, I'd recommend to buy that if you can afford the price difference

I like the pen. I don't use it as much as I would like but if you like to do art or photoshop on the computer, its definitely handy.

Nice, but seems slightly laggy. It’s expensive for something that really should have come with the laptop.

The surface pen is a Great quality pen. It was very easy to set up and to use. While the red was not my first choice, I have come to like it.

Nice item but hardly never used mostly use finger to navigate , nice an sleek looking , only used to look cool around people

Worked great on my Acer and Asus touchscreens until Microsoft "upgraded" Win 10 to make it not work anymore. :(

It’s so cool to use and feels nice in your hands. And it easily magnetically attaches

This pen is great. The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t always get the letters I write correct

Great little gizmo. Feels a little different from the apple pen, but still a must have.

I enjoy using this pen. I was able to complete an application that didn’t have PDF. Awesome purchaae, Coloring is amazing.
