The battery expired within first two weeks. Is this normal with limited battery life? How often does the tip need to be replaced? Please provide information to the above, because based on limited use we are very happy with the pen.

It's pretty durable and very user friendly. Love the programs.

Bought this for my surface and it works well with it

Works as designed and wife likes it but its more of fun accessory and you could live without it. It pairs very easy and has never lost its connection. She has used it for editing photos in adobe and was pretty impressed. So do you probably need it, no, but it's fun and very sturdy and feels good in your hand.

Easy to use, Specially for marking those huge PDF med books !!

This is a must have for the surface, but it is extremely convenient when taking notes. The added features with the Microsoft pen are worth the extra $20.00. Th eraser function is terrific. Just be careful not to loose it . it blends in with the other pens easily. The drawing functions are also superior to the other brands I tried.

I will continue to use it because I like it more with each use.

A bit Pricey for a pen that writes on a screen. Should be a lot less.

Of course there is always room for improvement on pen inputs but this one is worth it if you like having a pen. It doesnt slide inside the body of the Surface but it magnetically "sticks" to the side, which might be an issue for those who travel a lot. I would advise packing it separately. Other than that caveat it is a solid product

Not a big fan of the stylus, however the surface pen has out-preformed any that I have used before. I watch other class-mates that have to plug their pens into their tablets to sync them, I never have that issue. I do not know how long the batteries will last, but for now it has given me no issues. I have purchased a set of different tips to try with this, but they are currently "on a slow boat from China" literally. Very interested to try out the different tips, but even before that, I would highly recommend this product. P.S.- Love the magnetic feature that holds the pen to the side of my surface book 2. works very well.

As far as does it work, yes. But does my finger work just as well, also yes. I'm sure it's good for people who do design and take a lot of screen captures but otherwise I'm going to say it's not worth it. I bought it to avoid having to touch my screen so much and I would say I still have to touch my screen the same amount.

Depending on what your needs are the surface pen could be a great tool.

Magnet seems to work well on everything but the tablet. Thought I lost it once but my tablet said it was connected so I knew it was around somewhere. Found it stuck to the leg of my table. My advice based what happened to me is to check that it’s with the tablet before you move the tablet:).
