Works great for taking notes in school right on word documents and other apps. I also love how it sticks magnetically to the side of the Surface pro.

She is into art and drawing. She loves this pen and being able to seperate her Surface from the keyboard and use it as a tablet so she can draw or paint.

It does do what it says it does and I'm sure at some point it may come in handy. I'm sure an artist will really enjoy this as it has many features that someone who draws would appreciate. This is by far the best add on to the surface line. It had actuate palm rejection with 100% accuracy when writing!

The only issue I could see is the odd size of the batteries, but depending on usage, it may be a while before having to purchase them.

I could have purchased online and waited for it’s arrival but I chose to get it at the local store. It was priced higher at the store. Just be aware.
