Pen works great. Wish magnet was a tab bit stronger or that it had an additional mechanism to lock it in, it definitely gets knocked off the surface with a lot of activity.

It was a bit overpriced for what it is, but does work well when writing is necessary. A bit difficult to figure out at first as it has many features.

Purchased this pen as they were out of the Surface Pen 2. has some great features with powerpoint and works well for a stylus. However, I have to be honest when saying I do not use this very often. If you are doing graphics, it is a must have, otherwise, you can get by without it. Battery life is good, but if used a lot, it can drain faster than I would expect. But as long as you keep a spare AAAA battery in your bag, you will never have an issue.

I can't really say as 4 days after my I purchased this Surface Pen, my Microsoft Surface, my case, my pen all were stolen. My home was invaded and many things were stolen among them this pen. So I think it would have been good, but I honestly can't say because I only had it for four days. I am unable to purchase another Microsoft Surface, case and pen because they are so expensive that I can't afford it.

Love this surface pen. Feels like a normal pen and it matches my black surface perfectly.

This accessory isn't as crucial to the Surface experience as the keyboard cover. I'm actually disappointed that the pens no longer come as standard. And for some reason, every time I give it to someone to try, they end up holding down buttons while trying to draw, resulting in a poor experience for them, though when put in the hands of someone that knows what they are doing, it performs adequately for writing and drawing. If your primary reason for purchasing a Surface is to draw/take written notes, absolutely get this. If your primary reason is to check your facebook, maybe do some youtubing, and watch netflix, skip it.

This pen is essential if you have any type of Surface device... period. Having the Surface without the pen makes no sense imo. I was able to annotate on a document with ease, highlight, underline, circle, you name it - so easy with the Surface Pen. Being able to right click with it is a cool feature and I've only touched the surface (pun intended) with the uses of the device.

It' expensive for what ti is, but it's really nice. 100% worth it if you have a surface.

If you have a surface you need this.....It is indispensable as far as I am concerned. The magnet holds it onto the side of the unit so well you will never be without it. It is easy to adjust at ANY time....not just at setup. Double click the erase and it will capture the screen and pop it into a paint like studio to highlight, note draw.....I love this tool, If you have a Surface and do not have one of these GET IT. It is one of the best reasons to OWN a surface....

Use this as a teacher with a surface pro. Works well but sometimes disconnects easily. Have to reset in order to connect it back

Its suprisingly confusing to use, the battery is an odd size but I didnt check that before buying. The tip of it broke after 2 months. I havent used it since. Its an okay product but lack of use makes it not worth the money.
