Would be 5 stars if it weren't for the price differences in different color models. It's not hard to do pre-manufacture data collection on color preference from users and reflect that on what they pump out. The platinum/silver is obviously the most popular color choice but functions the same but costs more. In all, this review is mostly a gripe about costs but pen works as should.

The only problem is that sometimes my hand rests on the screen while I’m writing and it opens other things on my computer that I’m not using or activates an option that I’m not needing. I think that’s more of a computer sensitivity to touch than the pen.

Great Device for School and Work

It was one of the best decisions that I made. This is much better than those scrap stylus pens and best to be used with a Surface. I have been using it for school work and my job, it is really convenient.

Feels like a regular pen. I like the buttons that you can customize to open certain screens on the surface pro. I only wish the pen had a stronger magnet to attach to the surface pro better. It's fallen off a couple times and not something I want to lose.

I especially like that it takes AAAA batteries, because they last an extremely long time and can be switched out in seconds! Compared to not being able to use it if it needed to be recharged. The convenience of quickly replacing them and keep working is fantastic.

It’s helpful for writing and drawing on the screen, abilities that can also aid students during class, and is easy to transport as it attaches itself to the side of your Surface.

It has a nice tip and it also has a very long battery life. It hasnt died once since i got it a while ago. You need a triple A battery for this pen.

I bought it and 4 days later my Microsoft Surface tablet was stolen, along with the Surface Pen. It seemed like it would be good but I really can't say. Unfortunately, I don't have enough money to buy another Microsoft Surface tablet because they are too expensive.

I love using it for everyday tasks such as scrolling, clicking, and highlighting, but i mainly use it for note taking. I use it with OneNote and it works great for jotting down quick notes or even in depth class or presentation notes. Very slight delay, almost like writing on paper.

I saved myself ~$1,900 just cause I took the chance on buying the new pen.

Pen is comfortable to hold and is nice and responsive on my SP 7+

I felt the color matched my computer enough, it is not a direct match but nice and similar theme. It wsa easy to connect to the computer and works well. I wish my new computer was compatible with the first pen developed, but again great sale and I now have a cute color.
