Very Nice Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the Surface Pro, it gives me PC functionality on a tablet. I can use my Office applications and view HD movies too. It does seem to get a little warm when in use for a while, and the battery does seem to go down after a couple of hours, but that is expected. If I am going to use it longer or watch movies, I just plug it in. Sound is OK, but I would recommend an external speaker for movie viewing or headsets. Cost a little more than a IPad HD but has a lot of PC capabilities, and Flash.

Great Tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I chose this windows tablet because is has a usb port. I really like the unit but in hind sight I would probably buy a small lap top with similar features for half the price. This is a big investment especially after buying the keyboard and the case. Also the camera doesn't have enough megapixels to be very useful and takes poor pictures. I didn't buy it to use as a camera so its not a big problem for me. Other than the price and camera I'm really happy with the tablet and enjoy using it.

Cool product!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has been a great product mainly because I use it for college. Its light and compact so I can carry it in my purse. The battery cord is small (i cant stand bulky power cords) Apps are great! Skype works perfectly. I got the keyboard with the push down buttons and it works perfectly with it. Screen adapts quickly depending on how im holding it. I love that I have the capability of going to the desktop or using it solely with apps.

Needed the surface for personal use needed windows
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried all tablets. Surface is more versatile and all around use for windows, and access to sites the ipad does not. Also the usb ability. This is the tablet/laptop I've been waiting for to use for personal and business.

Best piece of electronics I ever owned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been actively involved in the tech evolution starting in the early 1980's. MS really out did themselves. Everything worked perfect out of the box. Very easy to use. The best thing, it's full-computing power in a tablet. Hat's off to the MS Team

Best Tablet Ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had and IPAD since the first one came out and loved it but I'm PC person for sure. The surface is so much better for me. It's just like a miniature home computer. I haven't upgraded my home computer in some time so my surface is actually better! I LOVE the fact that is has flash. I am not limited in anyway surfing the web. Best of all I downloaded iTunes so I have not lost anything from my IPAD except the plethora of apps. Windows could do better in the app arena but I'm not a big app game person so it's not that big of deal to me.

Good for travel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I am enjoying it. I have some difficulty with some of the games, but on the whole it is great. Easy to navigate on the internet. Have not tried Skype yet, but am sure that too will be easy.

Smooth, Clean, and Crisp
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product, defiantly recommend it. However, MS needs to find a way to motivate these app development companies; there should be no reason why the surface does not have the same exact apps as the iPhone and android. Also, I was disappointed to find out that it did not come with MS office free; it is 100% of a Microsoft product and after paying $1000 for it having office should be a no brainer. All my friends love playing with it and my mom even went and bought one after getting acquainted to mine. Being able to TRULY multi task with 2 apps up at the same time is my favorite feature. Also, the speakers could be better. When playing youtube and music through it, the speakers are great, but when watching movies, it is difficult to hear.

Love the tablet with Windows 8
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only con I have found is the Battery life. The best time is about 4 hours in use. I love running the apps as well as the programs I am used to on my desktop. The picture quality is also excellent for movies while watching the grandchildren playing outside. It will be even better when there are more apps available.

Great Tablet, perfect niche
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have nearly replaced my company laptop (in fact I would've if the company would have allowed connections to exchange servers etc). I take it everywhere with me. Its portability surpasses laptops, and I have even noticed laptop users on the flights wishing they had something like this for its ease of power up and quick stowage times. it is a bit pricey. One should consider the value added for the amount spent. I use it connected to projectors and and monitors all the time.

It is great to have a mix of laptop and Tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is great to have a mix of laptop and Tablet but the battery should last more, and it heats a lot when i am charging the battery.

Great Tablet PC
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a wonderful pc. I bought this so I could use it at college and am glad I did. The drawback is the battery does not last more than 3 hours, and to charge it while using it is virtually impossible due to the horrible connector the charging cable uses (a magnet with surface contacts) which falls off easily. The second issue I am not to thrilled about is the accessories, it does not come with a keyboard and they are very expensive. Overall it is a great device that runs all windows based programs.

The best Windows 8 tablet for business

Fantastic except
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Surface Pro is a succesful leap into the tablet arena. It will do a lot for Windows hungry customers. The ability to run legacy software on a tablet is a HUGE plus for me. At the end of the day, my only problem with it comes down to the app store. I have 2 or 3 apps that i can't live with out and all of them do not exist as of yet in the Microsoft app store. I love all things Microsoft, so its not that i do not love my Surface, it is just that until the app store caters to my needs, it will never be a fully mobile tablet in my mind. And in my mind that is the only thing keeping it from that. Nicely done Microsoft.

Wonderful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I saw the Surface Pro announced I thought "this is what I want." It hasn't let me down, full Windows environment on a tablet. Windows 8 isn't ripe yet, I'm still struggling. It need a few add ones before it is fully usable, keyboard, mouse, USB (3) HUB and a huge disc for your data (I have the 128 GB model with added 64 GB micro SD card, still I need an external drive.

Finally a Tablet that meets my needs perfectly.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a windows user since version 1.0. I love Windows 8.1 and have it now on both desktop and tablet and they are synched great. The display is absolutely brilliant and very sharp. Paired with the Type Cover 2 keyboard it is still very portable and easy to use. The fine point stylus is super and very accurate. I love this system and highly recommended it. I have used both iPads and Android devices and they don't compare to tis Microsoft product.
